12 Recording

After formatting the storage medium and turning on the
camera, the automatic recording starts with video recording.
If the recording does not start automatically, proceed as fol-
lows:
In video mode

NOTICE! It is only possible to zoom when recording has
stopped.

Press the OK button to start recording. The recording
icon flashes.
Press the OK button to stop recording. The recording
icon disappears.
Press the UP or DOWN button to zoom in or out.
Press the UP button for approx 3 seconds, to activate
or deactivate (silent) the audio recording.
In standby mode: Press the MENU button to switch to
the setting mode.

NOTICE: Formatting will irrevoc-
ably lose all data on the memory
card.
Reset the device to the default set-
tings (OK) or Cancel (Cancel).
NOTICE: Resetting to the default
settings will result in the loss of all
settings!
Displays the device version.
