Seal the cuvette.

Carefully dry the outside of the cuvettes.

Place the cuvettes in the thermostat block and close the lid.
Once the digestion times have been set, the thermostat is ready for
operation. The selected digestion conditions are shown in the top line of
the display.
Start the digestion in standard programs 100, HT or COD, or
in a user-specific program
Press key 1 under Start to start heating up the thermostat.
The lid is locked automatically (red LED lights up) at the same time
(when the lid is closed).
Note: If the safety lid is open or incorrectly locked, the error message
Close lid appears on the display after pressing key1under Start. If the
lid is then locked correctly after the error message has been displayed,
the digestion starts automatically. The display is continuously updated
once the digestion has started.

Abort the digestion An Abort confirmation prompt appears. Press the
key under Yes to abort the digestion; press the key under No to continue
the digestion. If the heating-up phase is already finished when the digestion
is aborted, there may be a cooling-down phase lasting a few minutes
before the Digestion display closes! message appears on the display.
Press the key under Escto return to the Time sub menu.
Note: When the standard program COD is selected, the digestion time is
fixed at 120 minutes (including heating-up time).
When user-specific programs are used, the digestion time is specified by
the user.

Once the heating-up phase is
complete, the remaining digestion
time is continuously updated and
displayed (except for on the
COD program: the digestion time
starts being continuously updated
during the heating-up phase).

heating-up phase. Once the
target temperature has been
reached, the current block
temperature is displayed.
