Change the air filter (every year or if it is very dirty):
•
Turn the instrument off and disconnect the power cord.
•
Remove the fitted square air filter from the bottom of the instrument
and replace the dirty filter mat with a new one.
N O T I C E
Check the condition of your air filter (level of dirt) on a regular basis, as a very
dirty filter mat lengthens the cooling-down phase of the thermostat.

Working with chemical samples, standards and reagents can be dangerous.
Make yourself familiar with the necessary safety procedures and the correct
handling of the chemicals before the work and read and follow all relevant safety
data sheets.

Fire hazard! Do not use flammable agents to clean the instrument.
To prevent instrument damage, do not use cleaning agents such as turpentine,
acetone or similar products to clean the instrument or the display.
C A U T I O N
Burn hazard
Do not clean the instrument when it is hot.
The outside of the instrument can be cleaned with a dry cloth or a mild
household cleaning agent. Under no circumstances may solvents such
as petroleum spirit, acetone or similar substances be used.

Turn the instrument off and disconnect the power cord.
2.
When the instrument is cool, clean the surface of the instrument
with a soft, moist cloth and a weak soap solution. Make sure that
no water gets into the instrument.
