Wall mounting using blind-rivet nuts
Note
Make sure that the structural section of
the vehicle is deep enough for the drill
bit length used so as not to damage
the outer wall of the vehicle!
Drill one hole into each of the vehicle side
■
walls [15].
Deburr the holes using the countersink [17].
■
Insert the rivet nuts [5] using the rivet gun
■
pliers [10] .
Floor mounting (Fig.I/IV/V)
Floor mounting using a multiplex
plate (recommended) (Fig. V)
If a 10 mm floor plate from Würth is used,
■
the module can be float-mounted on the
plate. To do this use the floor mounting kit
0963 80 502.
Appropriate floor plates are available for all
■
vans and compact cars.
Floor mounting without approved
floor plate (Fig. IV)
To do this use the floor mounting
■
kit 0963 80 525.
Note
Make sure that it is possible to drill a
hole into the floor of the vehicle and
that no parts critical for the safety such
as fuel lines, tank or electric cables
could be damaged!
Note
We would point out that vehicle
equipment not mounted on floor plates,
could render the vehicle's guarantee
invalid. Please contact your vehicle's
manufacturer to clarify the matter.

Use the marker [12] to mark the points where
■
the holes for the screws of the floor mounting
have to be drilled into the floor of the vehicle.
Drill one hole in the vehicle floor for each
■
marked hole [16].
Deburr the holes from both sides using the
■
countersink [17].
Note
All holes must be protected against
rust using a suitable anti-corrosion
protection spray!
Put the module into the vehicle.
■
Screw the module to the floor of the vehicle
■
using the hexagonal nuts [3], Allen screws [8]
and washers [4].
Note
Protect the screw connections using
underbody wax!
Final assembly (Fig .I/VI)
Screw the module to the side walls of the vehicle
■
using the rubber discs [7], washers [4] and
Allen screws [8].
In a final step, tighten all screw connections.
