Preparation (Fig.I/II)
Check that the vehicle side wall is
strong enough to carry the module
before commencing installation.
For optimum stability we recommend using a
mounting plate [9].
Put the module into the vehicle.
Using the marker [12] mark the points where
the holes for the brackets have to be drilled on
the side walls of the module and on the wall of
the vehicle at the same height.
Take the module out of the vehicle.
For each marked point drill two holes in the side
walls of the module [16].
Deburr the holes from both sides using the
countersink [17].
Loosely screw the side fastening to the side wall
of the module [1] using the Allen screws [2],
washers [4] and hexagon nuts [3].
The brackets should still be freely movable!

Wall mounting (Fig.I/III)
Wall mounting using the mounting
plate (recommended)
Note
Make sure that the structural section
of the vehicle is deep enough for the
length of drill bit used so that the vehi-
cle outside wall is not damaged.
To secure the mounting plate [9] drill one hole
at each point marked on the side wall [16].
Position the mounting plate [9] using a screw
and using the marker [12] mark holes for the
blind rivets [6].
In each case, drill two holes [13].
Deburr the holes using the countersink [17].
Fasten the mounting plate [9] on the rear (inner)
side of the side wall of the vehicle using the
blind rivets [6].
