Using this table, program the Contact numbers:
1. Click the relative box in the 'Number' column.
2. Enter the prefix (Area Code) and Telepho-
ne number, if necessary* (this 20 character
field accepts digits and '+' signs).
NOTE: * If local calls DO NOT require the Area
Code, enter it in the 'Area Code' field and not
in the 'Number field' (refer to 'Prefix').

Description

Using this field, program the Contact's name.
To program a Contact name:
1. Click the relative box (1 through 8) in the
'Descriptions' column).
2. Enter the Name.

Enter the Telephone number prefix (max. 4 di-
gits) in this field. The prefix will be included in
the Telephone number, when the BGSM-A ope-
rates on the GSM Network.

If the BGSM-A is connected downstream to a
switchboard, the telephone numbers (program-
med on the Control panel) must be preceded by
the switchboard number (normally one digit). As
the switchboard number is not required when
calls are sent over the GSM Network, it must be
removed from the digits which form the telepho-
ne number. Enter the number of digits that form
the switchboard number (e.g. if switchboard
number is 01, enter 2 in the 'Digits to remove' field,
as 2 numbers form the switchboard number).
