Directions
Assemble the head on the handpiece

1 / Remove inner plastic pack from outer peel pouch.
2 / Place the pack with head screw up Fig.2A and open top of the pack Fig.2B.
3 / Screw the locking screw clockwise to fix the head on the handpiece. Check that the head is screwed tightly to the
handpiece. There should be no rotation of the head Fig.3/4/5.
4 / Once assembled, inspect blade under the microscope.
5 / Lubricate the blade prior to use with BSS
6 / Activate the handpiece to check if the blade is engaged and oscillates properly.
Assemble the handpiece on the suction ring

1 / When inserting the head in the rails of the suction ring, the handpiece should be at a 45° angle from the metal threaded
shaft of the ring to prevent the shaft from touching the head and separator assembly Fig.6.
Once the head is well inserted in the rails of the suction ring, gently decrease the 45° angle to 0° and advance slightly the
head into the ring Fig.7.
WARNING! Do not touch the blade (as shown below in the picture) with the threaded shaft, it would damage the edge

Disassemble OUP single-use head

To disassemble OUP single-use head, insert it into the pack and unscrew the locking screw anticlockwise. Discard everything
in a biohazard container Fig.9/10/11.
