7. With the hood/hitch assembly behind the mower, place the
lower slotted portion of the hitch tubes over the hitch pins
attached to the bottom of the ROPS.
NOTE: be sure that the retention pin (H)hooks over the front of
the hitch pins.
8. Lift up on the rear of the hood and attach the free ends of
the straps on the upper pins installed in the ROPS. Secure
with washers and retainers.
9. Release the hood latches (I) of the hood and lift hood
open. If hood does not stay open, tighten hood hinge bolts
slightly.
10. Install collector bags (J), close and latch hood.
11. Attach the hose between the hood assembly and the
blower assembly.

INSTALLING CAST WEIGHTS
1. Set the mount bracket (A) onto the frame tube just behind
the caster pivot (B).
NOTE: Mount brackets can be placed on either the inboard or
outboard side of the frame tube.
2. Press down on the mount bracket until it is securely
snapped into place on the frame.
3. Push the cast weight (C) into mount bracket, locking the
release lever (D) against the side of the frame tube.
4. Place the detent pin (E) through the hole in the mount
bracket to secure the weight.
