RECOMMENDATIONS DURING OPERATION
□ Do not crush the suction and discharge pipes.
□ Protect the suction and discharge hoses from possible vehicle passages and avoiding to trample
the suction and discharge hoses [Fig. 21].
6. STOPPING THE PUMP
■ Prior to disconnecting the water fittings, make sure the pump has stopped.
■ Never disconnect the fittings when the pump is running.
□ If the delivery hose is equipped with a valve, stop the engine before closing the valve [Fig. 22].
STOPPING THE ENGINE (DIESEL)
1.
Move speed control to IDLE position during 1 minute, then to the stop position [Fig. 23];
2.
Close the fuel cock [Fig. 24];
3.
Slightly pull the starter rope until it becomes a bit difficult. Let it come back to initial position
[Fig. 17].
IN CASE OF LOW TEMPERATURE (≤ 0°C)
After stopping the engine:
1.
Remove the drain plug from the pump body [Fig. 25];
2.
Drain the water from the body pump [Fig. 26];
3.
Empty water from suction and discharge pipes.
