V1.0
ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Numbered references in parenthesis (#1) refer to the included Parts List.
All instructions assume the stand front is facing you with the slot on the
right side. The unit is partially assembled.
1.
Remove the M8 x 14 hex screw (#3) from each jaw clamp (#25) and set
aside.
2.
Position the spacer (#27) on the jaw clamp so the flanges fit over the
stand's (#6) oval hole.
3.
Insert the M8 x 14 hex screw through the oval opening into the jaw
clamp and hand-tighten only.
4.
Repeat with the other jaw clamp.
5.
Remove the two bolts already attached to the base's (#1) rear. Set the
nuts aside.
6.
Position the bracket (#2) over the empty bolt holes so the stand is above
the base's left side. Hold the stand and base together with one hand.
7.
Insert each bolt into the empty bolt holes and hand-tighten to secure.
Place the base flat on the work table.
8.
An M10 nut (#15) is already threaded onto the M10 x 55 bolt (#16) and
M10 x 75 bolt (#26).
9.
Insert the M10 x 68 hex bolt through the stand's upper opening from
right to left. Make sure the hex nut fits into the raised opening so it
cannot move.
10. Repeat with the M10 x 50 hex bolt in the stand's lower hole.
11.
There are three additional pairs of bolts and nuts included in the
hardware (M10 x 30 mm, M8 x 25 mm and M6 x 25 mm). One set
should fit into the handle holes on the angle grinder's head. Determine
which pair fits and set the others aside for use with other angle
grinders. Use the plastic spacers with the M8 or M6 bolts.
12. Position the angle grinder between the jaw clamps with the blade on
the right-hand side.
13. Adjust the distance between the clamps until both sides are touching
the angle grinder.
14. Insert the chosen set of bolts through the clamps and screw them into
the angle grinder head. If using the M8 or M6 bolts, slide a spacer (#24)
over each bolt first.
