3. Hold the heating element as such that the connector part
is on the upper left side and first of all hang the heating
element with the rear mounting clamps into the ceiling
brackets.
Insert the socket part into the plug part on the heating
element.
4. Raise up the heating element and hang the front
mounting clamps into the ceiling brackets.

Mounting in the suspended modular or grid ceiling
Ensure that there is at least 10 cm of clearance above the
heating element so that the heating element is kept free of
insulation or similar material when installed.
Please check the load-bearing capacity of the ceiling
construction in advance. The additional load carried by the
heating element can be supported by a cable suspension set
(available as accessory) if necessary.
5.4
Mounting on suspended cables
The four mounting clamps of the heating element are
equipped with M5 threads as standard, allowing the cables
to be attached to the heating element using wire cable
holders.
Mounting steps:
1. Mark the cable positions on the ceiling using the
punched crosses in the drilling template and mount the
mounting parts for the cables on the ceiling.
2. Screw the wire cable holder into the M5 thread in the
respective mounting clamp on the heating element.
3. Insert the suspended cables into the wire cable holders
to fix the heating element.

Mounting steps:
1.
Remove a ceiling panel from the grid. Fastening parts
for the cables on the ceiling.
2.
Fasten the socket part for the mains connection to the
mains cable – as described in chapter 5.5 Mounting the
socket part on the connection cable on page 28.
3.
Insert the socket part into the plug part on the heating
element.
4.
Insert the heating element into the ceiling opening.
The appropriate VZS-VH cable suspension set is not included
in the scope of delivery of the heating element.
