Before fixing the scoreboard, we suggest to verify if it
works.
Connect the 50m long keyboard cable, inserting the
suitable connectors. Eventual lenthening of the
keyboard cable, till 150m, may be achieved simply
with a three-wire cable.

S
ELECTING THE CORRECT POSITION
Select the position where you want to install the
scoreboard; the board should be installed high
enough to prevent possible contusions (due to sharp
edges) or attempts at vandalism, but not too high to
inhibit proper maintenance.
To avoid injuries such as bruises, scrapes, or
cuts while handling the scoreboard, we advise
wearing protective gloves and safety shoes.
Use 2 strong fixings with hook (screw anchors or
other) placed to a distance of 120 cm.
Make sure that the fixing is absolutely sure
during the time, to avoid the fall of scoreboard
causes damages to people or to things.
Make sure that the wall is
strong enough to support
the
weight
scoreboard and that the dowels
are suitable for the type of wall
and environment (e.g., possible
corrosion due to dampness).
Consult a professional in the
field.
Using the suitable ones thin
chains the inclination of the
scoreboard can be regulated
(see Fig.1), so as to obtain the
best
visibility
between spectators and players. Both of them must
have a sight the most possible perpendicular as
regards to the scoreboard.
2.2
P
OWER SWITCH AND SOCKET
Each scoreboard comes with a power supply cable
with plug.
To turn the scoreboard on and off easily, we suggest
that a power supply socket be positioned just to the
side of the scoreboard.
2.3
P
OWER SWITCH DEVICE
There MUST be a power switch device
(isolating switch) in the electrical system in
order to switch off the scoreboard when it is not
being used or while under maintenance. The power
switch device must:
• comply with federal/state installation regulations;
• be a double pole type to ensure separation
between Line and Neutral;
• have a distance between contacts which ensures
the complete disconnection of the power supply

network under conditions of overvoltage category II;
• be easily accessible.
At any rate, we suggest placing an automatic residual
current circuit breaker with overload protection in front
of the scoreboard which has:
• a tripping current that complies with regulations in
force (30mA) of type A,
• a type C thermal instantaneous tripping current,
• 230Vac nominal voltage,
• 6A nominal current,
• ≥ 4.5kA breaking capacity.

G
ROUNDING
The scoreboard MUST be connected to a
grounding system via the power supply cable
and
in
regulations of the country where it is installed.

PERATION OF THE LOWER PART OF THE
(Score + set/bonus/fouls + possession/turn)
It is controlled from the lower section of the keyboard.
Turn the scoreboard on with the [ON (2nd F)] key.
The [+1] keys increase the respective displays.
The scoreboard can work in two ways:
• WAY1: when a point is inserted, it is immediately
added;
• WAY2: when one or more points are inserted, they
flash for 2 seconds and then they are added.
To pass from the WAY1 to the WAY2 or vice versa,
keep the key [2nd_F] pressed for about 10 seconds.
The WAY2 can be useful to point out the assignation
of the score.
The [SETS] keys increase the relative indicators of
the Set/Bonus/Fouls.
The [EXCHANGE] key turns on, if it is off, or
exchanges if it is already on, the Possession / Priority
/ Turn indicator. To turn it off again keep the
[EXCHANGE] key pressed for at least 2 seconds.
The key [2nd_F] allows to access the "red functions"
of the keys:
• by pressing [2nd_F] and then [–1] the score of the
corresponding display is decreased;
• by pressing [2nd_F] and then [START] the scores
are set to zero and the indicator of the
Possession/Priority/Turn is turned off;
• by pressing [2nd_F] and then [TEST] all the LEDs
of the scoreboard turn on for a possible check in; to
exit from the test press any key;
• by
pressing
scoreboard is turned off.
