Remove the 5 extra studs and discard. Ensure
A1 is still in place (see burner overview for
more information).
Holes Under Log

Place log #1 on A1, located on the rear log
support.
2i. Place glowing embers on the front burner in front of the large clusters of ports (see step i for placement
details). The burner has been designed to have large fl ames in these locations. If not, blue fl ames will be present.

Place log #3 between the burners, resting the
right end on the fl oor of the fi rebox. Ensure the
rear locator is engaged with the rear burner.

ii.
Spread an even layer of clear glass across
the entire fl oor of the fi rebox, including on the
ember bed lights. Accent with topaz glass
(supplied). Optional: If desired, place
glowing embers along the rear burner.
This may take away from the fl ame height.
Foot Behind Log

Place log #2 between the burners. Ensure
the notch fi ts around the pilot shield and the left
end foot rests on the rear burner. Do not
cover any burner ports.

Place the two notches in log #4 on the third
and fourth grate posts.
