Follow the on-screen instructions.
Press the test / learn button on the device three times in
succession within 2 seconds.
A tone will sound to confirm a successful pairing. If pairing fails,
the device LED continues to light up. Press the test / learn button
on the device again in order to turn off the device LED. If necessary,
repeat the pairing process again.
Enter a device name for the device, e.g. smoke alarm "living room".
Select "Add" to assign the device to the room.
First tap "Back" to leave the room, then "Done" to complete the
pairing process.

Cleaning the device
The smoke alarm must be cleaned at least once a month.
Remove the battery before cleaning.
Clean the device with a dry, lint-free cloth. For tough dirt, you
may also dampen the cloth slightly.
Do not clean with solvent-based cleaners. These could damage
the device surface and markings.
Never immerse the device in water or other liquids. The device
may otherwise be damaged.
After cleaning, reinsert the battery and proceed by carrying out
a function test (see "Function test" section).
Restore factory settings
The device can be restored to the factory settings at any time.
Remove the batteries for 5 seconds.
Press and hold the test / learn button.
Insert the batteries.
Continue to hold down the test / learn button until the device
LED goes out. Release the test / learn button. The device LED is
switched on.
Press the test / learn button again.
An alarm tone will sound to confirm that the device was reset.

Faulty or drained batteries must be recycled in accordance with Directive
2006/66/EC and its amendments. Return batteries and / or the device
to the available recycling facilities.
Improper disposal of batteries can
harm the environment!
Never dispose of batteries in your household waste. They may contain
toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste regulations.
The chemical symbols of the heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg =
mercury, Pb = lead. Therefore dispose of used batteries through your
local collection facilities.
