explode when exposed to naked flames or
temperatures higher than 130°C.
Follow the instructions for charging and
charge the battery only at the
temperature indicated in the instructions.
Incorrect charging or charging outside the

SERVICE
Power tools must only be serviced by
qualified personnel using identical spare
parts. This will ensure that the power tool
remains safe to use.
Never attempt to repair damaged
batteries. The battery must only be
serviced by the manufacturer or at an
authorised service centre.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR DRILL
Wear ear protection when percussion
drilling. Exposure to loud noise can cause
hearing impairments.
Hold the power tool by the insulated grips
when working in areas where the tool
could come into contact with concealed
electrical cables or its own power cord.
Contact with a live cable will cause the
metal parts on the power tool to also
become live – risk of electric shock.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
OF LONG DRILLS
Never work with a speed higher than the
rated speed for the drill. At higher speed
there is a risk that a freely rotating drill
without contact with the workpiece can
bend and cause personal injury.
Always start drilling at low speed and with
the tip of the drill in contact with the
workpiece. At higher speed there is a risk
that a freely rotating drill without contact
with the workpiece can bend and cause
personal injury.
Only apply pressure in line with the drill.
24
Do not press too hard. The drill can bend,
which can cause it to break, or that you
loose control of the tool, and result in
personal injury.
