Lift the safety cap, complete the clockwise rotation of the radio
boa until it stops and release the plug (fig.10) so that the radio
boa is locked on the counterweight ..
Check the activation of the boa radio; the boa radio signals its
activation within 5 seconds after insertion into the counterweight
by two flashes close to the flash.
Throw everything at sea.

Recover the boa radio
Approach the boa radio.
Use a sailboat to hang the counterweight using the hook at the
top of the float (if present) or hook the boom radio to the bottom
of the float. Caution: Do not remove the radio from the pole by
lifting it off the antenna as it may be damaged by excessive
weight.
Once the unit has been recovered, lift the safety catch, turn the
boom radio counter-clockwise to the unlocking point, release the
plug and lift the boom radio upwards (not antenna) (fig.9)
The boom radio automatically turns off when it is removed from
the counterweight.
6.6
Routine maintenance
Wash the boa radio and the counterweight with fresh water.
Remove the impurities with a fresh water jet, using a cloth.
Do not use abrasive or chemical products.
Place the radio on the battery charger only if it is sufficiently dry.
If necessary, use a cloth to dry the boa radio.
