● Maintain power tools and accessories. Check for
misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of
parts and any other condition that may affect the power
tool´s operation. If damaged, have the power tool
repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained power tools.
● Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained
cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to
bind and are easier to control.
● Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in
accordance with these instructions, taking into account
the working conditions and the work to be performed.
Use of the power tool for operations different from those
intended could result in a hazardous situation.
● Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free
from oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping
surfaces do not allow for safe handling and control of the
tool in unexpected situations

2.7 Service

● Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair
person using only identical replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
● Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery
packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or
authorized service providers.
2.8 Specific safety instructions for
hammer drill
● Wear ear protectors. Exposure to noise can cause
hearing loss.
● Use auxiliary handle(s), if supplied with the tool. Loss of
control can cause personal injury.
● Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when
performing an operation where the cutting accessory
may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Cutting
accessory contacting a "live" wire may make exposed
metal parts of the power tool "live" and could give the
operator an electric shock.

● Vibration and noise safety
● Plan the operation to spread the exposure to heavy
vibrations over a longer period of time.

● To reduce noise and vibrations during operation, set a
limit to the operation time and use applicable personal
protective equipment.
● Do these procedures to reduce the risks of exposure to
vibrations and noise:
● Only operate the product as given in this operation
manual.
● Make sure that the product is in good condition.
● Only use applicable accessories in good condition.
● Hold the handles tightly.
● Do maintenance and lubricate the product as given in
this operation manual.

2.9 Personal protective equipment

● Always use approved personal protective equipment
when you operate the product:
• Hearing protection.
• Eye protection.
• Protective gloves.

Operation

3.1 To do before you operate the
product
1
Make sure that the mains voltage correspond to the
rated voltage. Refer to "7 Technical data" on page
25".

Make sure that the power plug is connected correctly
to an earthed power outlet.

If it is necessary to use an extension cord, make sure
that the cross-sectional wire area corresponds to the
power source. Use as short extension cord as
possible.

3.2 To adjust the support handle

The support handle can be positioned on the left and
right side of the product. Do the steps that follow to
adjust the support handle position.

Turn the support handle (A) counterclockwise and
move it to the required position. (Figure 2 )

Turn the support handle clockwise to lock it in the
required position.
