Chapter 5: Maintenance, troubleshooting
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Prior to the performance of any maintenance
work, disconnect the pump from the mains!
DANGER! Risk of electric shock! The supply cable may be replaced exclusively
by a qualified person, to the cable of the same quality as the original one!
The pump does not require any special maintenance, if it is operated in accordance with the instructions. IMPORTANT!
Prior to its maintenance or repair, disconnect the pump unit in a reliable way by pulling out the connector plug!
The disassembly of the pump may be done only by specialized repair service shop!
FAILURE
The electrical
pump does not
supply water
when turned on.
ATTENTION! In the cases mentioned, turn off the motor immediately and disconnect it from the mains! The pump gets
stuck usually because foreign materials (e.g.: sand) get in the pump. The defect usually can be eliminated by washing the
pump unit over with mains water.
IMPORTANT! If you wish to install the pump deeper than 20 m (length of the connection cable) – with the specification
concerning the water column being kept – the replacement or expert (waterproof) extension of the connection cable may
be done only in a repair service shop! The cable should be of the same quality and cross-section as
the original one! If much longer cable is necessary than the original, then it is recommended to use a cable of greater
cross-section.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
1) No supply voltage; connector
plug is not properly inserted.
2) The well's water yield is small.
3) The impeller (wheels)
has got stuck.
4) The suction orifice has
clogged.
5) Motor failure

SOLUTION
1) Check whether there is supply voltage and insert the
connector plug properly!
2) You selected too big pump for the well. Select a pump
of proper size!
3) Flush the pump over with clean water.
If the defect continues to exist, contact a repair service
shop!
4) Clean the suction orifice.
5) Contact the nearest repair service shop!
