Chapter 1: General information
The BP deep well pump can be applied for clean water. Where the maximum 6-9 meter suction lift of the standard pumps
is not enough (since the well's normal water-level is deeper down), it is necessary to install a submersible pump. The
dimensions of the BP pump allow its use in wells of at least 110 mm inner diameter. It can be used as domestic water supply
equipment as well with additional non-return valve and compressed-air reservoir. The maximum sand content of
the water may be 20g/m
The motor of the pump and the pump body are separate units, connected together with coupling and 4 pieces of M8 screw
for the pumps BP 10/4, BP 14/4, BP 18/3. In case of the pumps BP 1/4 and BP 3/3, the pump unit is mounted on the long,
protruding shaft of the motor. The structural materials used are corrosion-resisting. The case and the shaft are made of INOX
chromium steel; elements of the pump are made of stable corrosion-resisting plastics, while of bronze for BP 1/4 and BP
3/3. The part of the power cable next to the pump is protected by an INOX head-plate. The operating position of the pump is
vertical, with the electric motor below and the pump above, thus the motor's water-cooling is ensured during operation. The
pump's discharge inlet is on the top (C 5/4" and 1" internal thread).The direction of rotation of the pump is left when seen
from the discharge flange
The ProLine types are manufactured with built-in capacitor and without switch box. For these
types, it is recommended to use a connector socket equipped with switch!
