Check fuse
• The unit comes standard with pre-installed fuse.
• Remove the protective cover labeled 'Fuse' (Ger-
man: Sicherung) with screwing movements.
• If a fuse is found in place, keep it in its position
and screw the protective cover back on.
• If no fuse is found in place, take one of the sup-
plied spare fuses and install it according to the
instructions contained in the 'Fuse' section of this
manual.
Check the on / off switch
Make sure that the on / off switch is in the '0' position.
Connect charger
Connect the charger with the 1-pin socket on the electric scooter.
Connect the power plug of the charger to a wall outlet
• If the unit is uncharged or insufficiently charged, the red and
green status LEDs will illuminate.
• When fully charged, only the red status LED will illuminate.
General instructions for battery care
• You must fully charge the battery before first use.
• Charge immediately after each use of the scooter.
• Charge batteries before storing. You must charge the battery every 30 days if the scooter
is not in use.
• Make sure that the batteries never fully run out.
• For safety reasons, do NOT charge for over 24 hours.
• Switch the unit OFF when not in use.
• NEVER leave or store batteries near fire or heat.
