14. Troubleshooting
The clear water pump you have purchased is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and is safe to operate.
Nevertheless, problems and faults might occur. Therefore, we would like to describe here how to eliminate possible
faults:
Observe all safety instructions in this manual!
Problem
Pump does not draw
Pump does not run or stops during
operation
Pumped liquid is low
Floating switch does not release

Solution
• open stop valve on the pressure side, as air cannot escape
• clean suction holes (disconnect the pump from the mains voltage
first!)
• Water level too low, only air is sucked in
• control power supply
• pump wheel in the inside of the pump is blocked by dirt (discon-
nect the pump from the mains voltage, remove hose and rinse the
inside of the pump; see chapter 12)
• control suction holes
• pump sucks air as the suction holes are not completely under
water any more
• set up pump upright, with the suction side pointing downwards
• Water level too level. If necessary use manual operating mode.
