11. Transport

Transport the clear water pump using the carrying handle.
Never carry it using the hose or the mains cord.

A small quantity of water remains in the water pump after use or after the emptying operation.
Therefore, when storing or transporting the pump in a vehicle, use an appropriate mat.

12. Maintenance and Cleaning

There are no serviceable parts in the clear water pump, this is why you should never open or dismantle
it. Any maintenance or repair and the involved opening of the clear water pump must be done by an
expert or a specialist workshop only.
Before carrying out any cleaning, the clear water pump is to be separated from the mains voltage, pull
the mains plug from the mains socket.
To clean the outside of the water pump, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. If it is considerably dirty, use a cloth
which is slightly moistened with lukewarm tap water.
Do not use any aggressive detergent as this might cause discoloration.
Dirty suction holes can be cleaned with running water (e.g. with a garden hose). The inner part of the pump can be
cleaned with running water as well by removing the hose and the fitting piece.
Make sure that the mains plug does not get damp or wet; danger of a lethal electric shock!
