Troubleshooting
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE
Power Light • Unit is not plugged in
is off
• No power at outlet
Peculiar • Unit is new
Odor
• If unit is in use, the odor
Excessive • Unit is not level
Noise
• Low water level
• Wick was not soaked
may be a dirty water
reservoir, old tank water
or an old wick
SOLUTION
• Plug unit in
• Push POWER button to turn the
power on
• Check circuits, fuses, try a
different outlet
• Empty any water and clean and
refill tank
• Replace wick
• Place unit on a flat, even surface
• Check the water level. Refill the
reservoir if the water is low.
• Remove wick, soak for 20
minutes and replace wick
