5.5 IDEAL GROUP WORKING VALUES
Pump Pressure: 9 bar
Pressure may be confirmed in the manometer's upper scale;
Pressure may be adjusted by turning the pump's by-pass screw (turning it
clockwise
will increase pressure).
Boiler Pressure: 1 bar (admissible between 0,9 and 1,2 bar)
Pressure may be confirmed in the manometer's lower scale;
Pressure may be adjusted by turning the pressure switch screw (turning it
clockwise will decrease pressure).
Safety valve opening pressure: 1,5 bar
Expansion valve opening pressure: 11 bar (approximately)
Espresso coffee extraction temperature: 85/92°
Temperature varies depending on the type of coffee mixture used.
Temperature may be measured by using a precision thermometer during extraction.
It is possible to decrease temperature by tuning the pressure switch.
5.6 Adjusting the dose
The quantity of extracted coffee is controlled by flowmeters.
The control keyboard buttons can be used to adjust the dosages of the different kinds of coffee.
To begin the programming:
Fill the filter-holder with one or two doses of coffee for programming one or two cups;

Put the filter holder in the left group (the settings of the left group are transfered to all other
-
groups automatically)
During 3 seconds press button 5.

When the programming mode begins, button 5 will start blinking.

In less than 3 seconds, press the button matching the dose we want to program. The extraction
-
will begin. Press the same button as soon as extraction as reached the desired dose.
Repeat this process to program all the other buttons.

If button 5 Led stop blinking, it means that machine get out of the adjusting mode, being
-
necessary repeat all the procedure to adjust missing doses.
