SIMPLE TROUBLE-SHOOTING AND SOLUTIONS

Not every malfunction needs to be fixed by the technical service personnel.
It may be possible to solve certain problems on your own:

INSPECTION
- Is the power incorrectly inserted
into the electricity outlet?
- Are breakers and fuses broken?
- Any loss of electricity or line trip?
- Is the appliance stable and level?
- Is the appliance in contact with the
wall?
- Is there hot food or too much food
inside?
- Is the door opened too frequently?
-Are any food containers stuck in the
door gasket?
- Is the appliance situated in direct
sunlight or near a furnace or stove?
- Is the location well-ventilated?
- Is the temperature setting too high?
- Has any food spoiled?
- Does the appliance need
cleaning?
- Have you wrapped food with
strong flavours and/or odours too
loosely?
- Check whether the Smart, Fast
Freeze or Vacation functions are
enabled on the display panel.
- Has there been a recent power cut?
SOLUTIONS
- Re-insert the plug into the
electricity outlet.
- Open the door and check
whether the lamp is lit.
- Adjust the appliance 's
levelling feet.
- Move the appliance slightly
away from the wall.
- Only put food into the
appliance after it has cooled.
- Check and close the door.
- Move the appliance away
from the heat source.
- Clear the area around the
appliance to maintain good
ventilation.
- Set to the appropriate
temperature.
- Throw away spoiled food.
- Clean the appliance .
- Pack food with strong
flavours tightly.
- Exit the special function
mode, and then set the
temperature (for details refer
to the Functions section).
- Press any key to stop
the alarm (refer to the
Overtemperature alarm
function), and then check the
food inside the fridge and
freezer compartments for any
spoilage.
