5. Confirm the location found for the driver database by clicking Next. The Hardware
Wizard will update the driver database, copying the ISDN PCI Card TA driver to
your hard disk drive. This process takes a bit of time; watch the progress
indicator for the various installation steps on your screen.
7. As the installation progresses, you may see a Digital Signature File Not
Found dialog box open. If you see this message, simply continue the installation
by clicking Yes.
8. Once the driver installation is complete, the installation of the ISDN Utilities will
start automatically. The Choose Setup Language dialog box prompts for the l
language for this installation. Select your language (for example, U.S. English)
and click OK.
9. Click Next.
10. Enter or select a destination folder for the ISDN Utilities. Click Next.
11. Select an existing program folder where the ISDN Utilities icons are to be
installed. To install the ISDN Utilities icons in a new program folder, enter the
name for the new folder instead. Click Next.
12. This concludes the installation of the ISDN Utilities. Click Finish.
13.Configuring the ISDN PCI Card TA is the next step. The Configuration Wizard will
start automatically. Select the D channel protocol required for your ISDN access.
Your ISDN service provider uses a specific D channel protocol for your ISDN
access. For a European ISDN access, this will usually be DSS1. If your ISDN
provider or the PABX you are connected to use a different D channel protocol,
select this protocol here. If you do not know which D channel protocol you should
select, please contact your telephone company. Click Next.
14.The following dialog box configures the MSNs (ISDN Multi-subscriber Numbers)
for the two available B channels. Your telephone company will inform you which
MSNs (multiple subscriber numbers) can be used to call you on your ISDN line.
Only the Dial-Up Network and the Loopback Test use the MSNs entered in this
dialog box. You can use the same or different MSNs for the various applications,
which are configured from within those applications.
To add numbers to the Multi-Subscriber Number list, enter each MSN in the entry
field in the middle and click Add after each number. To delete an MSN from the
Multi-Subscriber Number list, select it and click Remove.
Click Next.
15.This concludes the installation and configuration of the ISDN driver software.
Click Finish.
