PURPOSE OF USE
The hydraulic press can be used for the following purposes:
• Recommended for maintenance and/or fitting jobs
• Straightening
• Pressing
The hydraulic press must not be used for the following purposes:
• Cyclical jobs
• Mass production
• Bending operations
• Forming operations
• Jobs using any accessories that cannot be supplied by Beta Utensili S.p.A.
• Working of parts containing any liquids
• Working of parts containing any hazardous materials
WORK AREA SAFETY
CRUSHING HAZARD!
For safety to be guaranteed during use, the press must be operated by one person.
Use the press as supplied. Do not modify the press.
Keep children and bystanders away from your workplace while operating the hydraulic press
Operate the press on a floor with a flat surface.
Do not use the press in environments with potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX).
PERSONNEL SAFETY
• Do not use the press for any purpose other than the purposes it has been designed for.
• Always pay the utmost attention during the activities planned for using the lift in order to avoid possible
serious injuries.
• Stay alert; watch what you are doing. Do not use the hydraulic press while tired or under the influence of
drugs, alcohol, or medication.
• Do not remove any mechanical, hydraulic or electrical guards.
• It is absolutely forbidden to operate the press with the bed suspended from the chain: all the jobs must be
carried out with the bed resting on the pins.
• It is absolutely forbidden to lift the bed with any weights or loads on it.
