4. INSTALLING

N.B. : If you try your product before installation, do not do so with the street plate and the response unit in the
same room. Otherwise, the interphone will emit a piercing tone (the Larsen effect).
a. Installation of the roadside panel
1. Remove the screw under the roadside panel (1).
2. Slide the roadside panel forwards (2).
3. Firmly fix the rain guard by means of the screws (3).
4. Add a silicone strip* (4) between the guard and the wall to prevent water getting into the unit.
* Do not use silicone-based acetic acid (vinegar smell).
5. Connect the wires according to the connection plan.
6. Fit the outdoor station (5) and (6) together with the rain guard.
7. Put the fixation screw (7) back in.
Tip: the cables should be paced in a protective sheath to protect them against physical shocks and weather conditions.
b. Installation of the indoor station
1. Prepare the three fasteners of the indoor station (1) "a, b and c". "a and b" are the 2 screws to hang the unit
and "c" the bracket at the bottom of the back of the indoor station, to be dismantled and fixed to the wall.
2. Connect the wires coming from the roadside panel as shown in the connection plan (fig.6).
3. Connect the adaptor plug to the indoor station (without connecting it to the power supply) (3).
4. Once the unit is wall-mounted with "a and b", the bracket "c" to be rescrewed under the unit will lock the
assembly into place.
5. After checking that installation is complete, connect the adaptor power supply plug.
Note: If the power supply cable has to be cut, ensure that the colour coding of the wires is maintained when
reconnecting (red wire (+) (fig. 7)).

5. WIRING

In order to prevent interference and malfunction, never include "low-current" cables in the same sheath as
highpower cables.
Warning: never double up wires in order to increase their calibre.
a. Connecting the interphone
Cable calibre: • 2 x 6 /10th wires up to 25 m
• 2 x 1.5 mm
1. Connect the wires as shown in the connection plan.
2. To connect the street plate, two wires are needed for the functions: calling, communication and opening com-

•Terminal "1" of the response unit on terminal "1" of the street plate.
•Terminal "2" of the response unit on terminal "2" of the street plate.
