6. Fill the paint cylinder again with clear water.

Remove the suction adapter.

Reattach the pump unit to the paint cylinder by securing the bayonet catch.

Detach the paint roller from the roller frame.

Clean the paint roller under running water.
11.
If you have been using the FineLiner, clean the side-frame and brush under running
water.
12.
Hold the roller frame over the bucket of water and pull the trigger until the water has
been pumped through the roller frame (fig. 20).

Remove the pump unit and roller frame.
to finish off the cleaning process, please follow the instructions in the section,
"preservation".

Remove and clean both valves (fig. 16).
15.
Press both buttons at the end of the paint cylinder and carefully pull the handle out
of the cylinder (fig. 17).

Cleaning the seal (fig. 17, 1)

Snap out the trigger (figs. 18, 1) in a forwards direction.

Loosen the cap (fig. 19, 1) and remove the piston (2), the spring (3), washer (4) and
seal (5).

Thoroughly clean all these components.

Lubricate all the marked components thoroughly (fig. 21).

Lubricate the positions marked on the roller frame. (Fig. 22)
22.
Mount the seal (fig. 19, 5) with its edge facing down back into the pump unit.
23.
Put the washer, spring and piston back into place and close the pump unit with the
cap.
24.
Snap the trigger back.
25.
Push the piston rod back into the paint cylinder.
26.
Put the valves back into the pump unit.
