Automatische Baudratenerkennung
Bei Schalterstellung „0" des Baudraten-Wahlschalters wird die Baudrate
automatisch vom Koppler erkannt. Dazu wird der Start-Delimiter der
PROFIBUS-Telegramme ausgewertet. Es müssen drei aufeinander folgende,
gültige Start-Delimiter empfangen werden bevor die Erkennung einrastet.
Alle empfangenen Telegramme werden anhand des Start-Delimiters auf
Plausibilität geprüft. Die automatische Baudratenerkennung wird in Schal-
terstellung „0" nach einem Reset durch Abklemmen und erneutem Anlegen
der Betriebsspannungen gestartet („Power on").
Werden an den Schnittstellen für einen Zeitraum von 1,7 s keine Telegram-
me mehr empfangen, wird die automatische Baudratensuche aktiviert.
Alternativ kann die verwendete Baudrate mit dem Drehschalter fest einge-
stellt werden.

Automatic baud rate detection
If the rotary switch is set to "0", the baud rate is detected automatically by the
coupler. For this, the start delimiter of the PROFIBUS messages is evaluated.
Three subsequent valid start delimiters must be received in order to determi-
ne the final baud rate value.
All messages are checked for plausibility by means of the start delimiter. After
a reset, the automatic baud rate detection is activated by setting the switch
to the "0" position and disconnecting and reconnecting the power („Power
on").
If no messages are received by the interfaces for a period of 1.7 s, a reset is
generated and the baud rate detection is automatically re-activated.
Alternatively, it is possible to set a fixed baud rate value using the rotary
switch.
