9. TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
The pump works but does not pump water
Water overflows from the tank but the pump
works
Leaks from the pipe inlet and/or outlet
Noisy system with vibrations
During operation the level in the WC is
lowered

10. DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY

POSSIBLE CAUSE
The pump is not primed
Obstructed delivery pipe.
Non-return valve blocked.
Insufficient pump characteristics.
Clogged pump suction.
Shut-off valve closed.
Incorrect assembly or lack of seal
Pipes not secured to the walls
Pump in cavitation
Lack of vent pipe

POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Prime the pump by repositioning it so as to
fill the pump body with liquid
Remove the obstructions.
Clean the valve.
Clean the suction.
Open the valve.
Reposition the seal correctly or replace it if
necessary
Secure the pipes to the walls, if necessary, use
anti-vibration joints
Verify that the pump works within the hy-
draulic curve.
Install the vent line or check the existing one.
