The voltage level at which the icons change is determined by the type of
battery fitted as set in the Battery sub-menu in the Setup menu.
We recommend that you check your batteries on a regular basis and
avoid total battery discharge as this may lead to some of your user
settings being lost.
When changing batteries the system will retain its settings for several
hours without power.
We recommend using Duracell Lithium Ultra long life alkaline batteries
LF1500 or other similar high capacity batteries designed for high demand
digital devices, where the voltage stays above 1.2V for the majority of the
working life of the battery. For rechargeable batteries we recommend
Duracell Supreme HR06.
Battery life will vary between 8* and 12* hours continuous use (longer
with occasional use) depending on the camera pipe, the usage, the
brightness of the LEDs and number of recordings made.
*Tests based on Duracell Lithium Ultra Long Life alkaline batteries, maximum level 2 LED
brightness throughout.
