A1 GENERALITY

A1.1 PuliFIL scope and not recommended uses
PuliFIL is a protecting semi-automatic self-cleaning filter equipped with a filtering net with a standard filtration
rating of 89 micron designed to filter drinking water. PuliFIL protects the hydraulic distribution system and the
piping from damage caused by small amount of impurities such as pebbles, rust scales and other kind of
oxides, metal trimmings with a maximum size of 2 mm.
Warning! PuliFIL is not suitable for filtration of water containing:
- big amount of sand
- coarse bodies greater than 2 mm
- silt
- chemicals (oils, solvents, acids, bases, glycols)
PuliFIL must not be used to filter closed loop water.
To filter process water and/or for applications other than those described it is necessary to consult with an
Acqua Brevetti 95 s.r.l. expert.

A1.5 PuliFIL operation
Usually the filters that are available for sale restrict themselves to remove exclusively the dirt accumulated in
the bowl without cleaning the cartridge but PuliFIL, thanks to its brushing + discharge patented system,
guarantees an efficient and thorough cleaning of the filtering cartridge too. The PuliFIL cleaning is easy and
immediate: it is enough to rotate clockwise the operation knob. PuliFIL's cleaning brushes are equipped with
silver inserts which contrast the bacterial proliferation in the brush itself.
