NOTICE D'UTILISATION ET DE DEPANNAGE / OPERATION & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
AMPLIFICATEURS / AMPLIFIERS
1 INSTALLATION
A Configuration
1. The amplifier comes with the following configurations:
· Inputs E1,E2,E3,E4 : 1a,2a, 3a,4a,5a,6a,7a (Fig : 3)
· Mixed inputs without remote control
2. Remote control
Inputs (E1 to E5) can be activated by remote control contacts applied on incoming remote control pins available
on input sockets, by selecting configuration (J24-9) (Fig : 5 ).The status of such contacts is displayed on front
panel by LED (L1 to L4 ), see N°10 (Fig : 1).
An outgoing remote control, corresponding to input E1, is available on coupling socket in order to control other
equipment simultaneously and to display, when required, priority status, unless a priority card CPG is being
used (see next paragraph 5).
3. Option : Remote control centralization (Fig : 6)
Remote controls, available on input sockets, can be centralized on DB15 socket to be fixed on rear panel .
· Select configuration J24-11 (Fig : 5).
· Use connector CTG -code 2439-(option).
· Plug in the CTG connector in J24, after making sure that the red colour would be towards front panel (Fig 6).
Fix DB15 on rear panel, see N°15 (Fig : 2)
· Connect all incoming remote controls on DB15.
This centralization allows to remote control all inputs through the DB15 (Fig : 6A) - (CTG Instruction sheet), or to
supervise input status and execute control by using an external device (Fig : 6B) - (CTG Instruction sheet).
4. Priority
Input E1 can override other inputs by selecting configuration J24-10,(Fig : 5).
5. Option :Priority card CPG (Fig : 7)
A cascade of priorities with different combinations can be obtained :
· Select configuration J24-11 ( Fig : 5).
· Plug in priority card CPG in J24.
· Select CPG configuration in order to get the required priorities ( Fig : 7A - (CPG Instruction sheets) . .
When the CPG card is plugged in, the centralization of remote controls using the DB15 will not be possible
anymore .In this case, use only remote controls available on input sockets .
The outgoing remote control available on coupling socket corresponds normally to Input E1.
However, this outgoing remote control, can correspond to any other activated remote control by transfer of
"brown wire FT" connecting the coupling socket to "Télec1" pin on mother card to "Télec" pin on CPG card
(Fig : 7B) - (CPG Instruction sheets).
6. 24V DC power supply
24V DC 200mA power supply, provided to power all equipments with relays ( ATG4,ATR4, CRG8,CRD8 )
and preamps(ex PMG5) is permanently available on "Coupling" socket.
Caution : the consumed current should not exceed 200 mA (limited by Fuse F2) (Fig : 3).
Another 24V DC, provided to power equipments involved with audio signal (Microphone paging desk,
ITP6,MPP,PMG5,MVG), can be made available on inputs (E1 to E4 ), by setting up configuration 3b (Fig : 3).
Caution : 24V DC will be available simultaneously on four inputs. Avoid mismatch while connecting
sources to inputs.
7. Phantom power supply
24V DC to power microphones can be made available on each of inputs E1 to E4 separately, by selecting
8. Coupling socket
The coupling socket allows for audio signals exchange with other products .It includes also a 24V-DC output
to power relays and an outgoing remote control for further controls, see N° 14 (Fig : 2).
Don't use pin 1 & 3 simultaneously
