TROUBLE SHOOTING

PROBLEM
Machine does not operate.
Vacuum motor does not operate.
Brush does not operate.
Low suction
Poor brush pick--up.
Magna Twin 1600/2200/2600 (09- -01)
CAUSE
ON/OFF switch is OFF.
Vacuum not plugged to wall outlet.
Faulty power cord.
Faulty ON/OFF Switch.
Faulty wiring.
Building circuit breaker tripped.
Sensor temperature too high.
Brush circuit breaker tripped.
Vacuum bag full.
Vacuum hose plugged.
Secondary filter plugged.
Rear door gasket leakage.
Brush height adjusted incorrectly.
Clogged brush
Worn brush bristles.
Loose drive belt.

OPERATION
SOLUTION
Turn switch to ON.
Plug power cord to wall outlet.
Contact Service Center.
Contact Service Center.
Contact Service Center.
Reset circuit breaker and change to
different power circuit.
Find air obstruction. Let motor cool
for 20 minutes.
Determine what caused breaker to
trip then reset breaker.
Replace bag.
Remove obstruction.
See MAINTENANCE; Secondary
Filter.
Replace gasket.
Adjust brush height.
Remove clogged material.
See MACHINE MAINTENANCE;
Brush and Belt.
Inspect belt, replace if needed.
