PROBLEM
Machine does not operate.

CAUSE
Faulty switches or wiring.
Faulty power cord.
Building circuit breaker tripped.
Overheated pump.
Faulty solution pump.
Faulty solenoid.
Faulty switch.
Loose or broken wiring.
Vacuum motor thermal overload
tripped.
Vacuum motor circuit breaker tripped.
Loose or broken wiring.
Faulty Master switch.
Defective vacuum motor.
Worn carbon brushes.
Brush motor circuit breaker tripped.
Carpet Cleaning Switch not pushed.
Faulty brush motor.
Loose or broken brush belt.
Faulty switch or wiring.
Open drain valve.
Clogged recovery tank screen.
Air leakage around recovery tank
dome.
Loose vacuum hose connections.
Defective vacuum hose.
Loose vacuum hose cuffs.
Pulling machine too fast.
Dirty or plugged spray tips.
Improper spray tip size or spray angle. Replace with proper tips.
Worn spray tips.
Solution tank low or empty.
Faulty solution pump.
Plugged solution tank filter.
Drain valve gaskets worn.
Lint or dirt in drain valve.

Contact Service Center.

Reset breaker.
Determine cause and wait 20 minutes
for pump to cool. Reset breaker.

Check air flow for obstruction, wait 20
minutes for motor to cool.

Remove brush obstruction OR
readjust brush height. Reset brush
breaker button at bottom of switch
box.
Push Carpet Cleaning Switch.

Close valve.
Remove recovery tank dome and
clean lint off screen.
Tighten recovery tank dome knobs or
replace gasket.
Secure connections.
Replace hose.
Secure cuffs to hose.
Slow down cleaning process.
Clean or replace tips.
Replace spray tips.
Refill solution tank.
Contact Service Center.
Clean filter.
Replace gaskets.
Clean valve.
