4. Important Safety Precautions

Please read this instruction manual carefully before you use the appliance
and save it for future reference. If you are unsure if LEDSONIC+ is safe for you to
use, please consult your doctor or dermatologist!
4.1

WARNING:

As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts are electrically live even when
the switch is off. To reduce the risk of injury or death by electric shock:
• Do not reach for the unit if it has fallen into water or other liquid. Unplug unit
immediately. Do not store charger where it can fall or be pulled into a sink or
bathtub.
• Do not place or drop into water or other liquids.
• The adaptor and charger base are not waterproof, keep away from water.
• Keep the appliance and the adaptor dry at all times.
• Do not attempt to open or repair the appliance by yourself.
• If the appliance is broken, do not touch any inner part to avoid electric shock.
• Never insert any objects into the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if it is not working properly or if it appears damaged.
• Do not use near the shortwave or microwave equipment.
• Make sure the adaptor does not get wet.
• Keep away from flammable aerosol products when used or where oxygen is
administered.
• Only use parts supplied with the appliance.
• Only charge the appliance with the adaptor supplied.
• Do not use the appliance or the adaptor if it is damaged.
• Do not charge when exposed to direct sunlight or heat.
• Keep this product out of reach of children. The use of this appliance by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge can cause hazards, unless under supervision or instruction
concerning the use of appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• The adaptor contains a transformer. Do not cut the adaptor to replace with
another plug as this will cause a hazardous situation.
• Turn off the appliance if it becomes unusually warm to touch.
• Switch off the appliance before cleaning.
• Stop immediately if you experience any adverse effects or develop prolonged
redness. You may be experiencing a photosensitive reaction.
• LEDSONIC+ is designed for home use (as opposed to exhaustive commercial
or professional use). Avoid such exhaustive use.
• LEDSONIC+ is only designed for personal use,
• The patient is an intended operator.
• Do not use any accessories, detachable parts and materials which are not
described in the instructions for use.
• Do not replace the battery by yourself as it can result in an unacceptable risk.
• No modification of this equipment is allowed.
• Do not touch the output the AC/DC adaptor when using the equipment.
• Do not inhale or swallow the small parts.
• Do not interconnect this equipment with other equipment.
4.2

Precautions

Never use the appliance with the LED attachments around and on the
eyes to avoid the risk of eye damage.
Please note that changes or modifications not expressly approved by the
party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the
equipment.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B
digital device, pursuant to Pate 15 of the FCC Rules.

4.2.1 Avoid to use LEDSONIC+ if...

• Do not use if you are pregnant, breast feeding or nursing.
• If you have a pacemaker or internal defibrillator.
• If you have superficial metal or other implants in the desired treatment area.
• Do not use on dry or fragile skin caused by the use of chemical peels, glycolic
peels, Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs), Retin-A,
Accutane and topical isotretinoin and azelaic acid.
• If you have a history of any type of cancer, or pre-malignant moles.
• If you have varicose veins in the treatment area.
• If you have pre-cancerous lesions or multiple atypical moles in the areas to be
treated.
• If you have eczema, psoriasis, lesions, open wounds or active infections, such
as cold sores in the area to be treated. Wait for the affected area to heal before
using LEDSONIC+.
• If you have an impaired immune system due to immunosuppressive diseases
such as AIDS and HIV, or use of immunosuppressive medications.
• If your skin is sensitive to light and easily develops a rash or an allergic reaction.
