in case of problems and fi ll in the TEST SHEET on the last page carefully. In case of necessary repairs or complaints it is absolutely
essential to send us this test sheet togehter with the product. The lanyard helps towards the safety of people in areas at risk from
falling from a height. It may be used only by people who have the phyical and mental capabilities as well as the necessary knowledge

Safety notes
The anchor point from which the equipment is fi xed to, should when possible be vertically above the user (in order to prevent swinging
in case of a fall from a height) and has to meet the requirements of EN 795 (minimum soundness of 10 kN = 1,000 KG). Please
take special care that no sharp edges endanger the anchor device as well as the safe locking of all connectors (karabiners) and their
authorisation according to EN 362.The position of the anchor point should always be chosen in a way that the fall distance is limited
to a minimum. Take care that the fall zone is calculated so that the user does not fall onto an obstacle in case of a fall from a height
and that impact on the ground is impossible.

Regulations for the holder of the equipment
Personal protective equipment should be at the disposal of one individual user. Immediately after each use, a visual inspection of
the PPE has to be carried out in order to guarantee that it is in working order. A product which no longer seems safe, must in case of
doubt, NOT BE USED anymore and should be replaced immediately.
Please note especially:
•
Damage on supporting parts, which are essential for safety, such as ropes, webbings and seams (tears, cuts, other)
•
Damage of plastic and/or metal fi ttings
This inspection may only be omitted, if the product is part of emergency equipment and has been inspected and put into a closed
container by a competent person. Observe the label for the next regular inspection and the maximum period of use (according to
item 3).
2.1 Periodic inspection
A visual inspection of the PPE must be carried out at least once a year (the frequency of such an inspection depends on the type and
intensity of use) by a COMPETENT PERSON. This visual inspection must include the determination of wear and tear.

2.2 Care, storage and transport of the PPe
For cleaning a soft brush (dry or damp) is ideal. Webbings and ropes can also be cleaned with lukewarm water (max. 40° C) and mild
soapsuds by hand. Then rinse in cold water and let it dry in a well ventilated, dry and shady place (never tumble dry or dry over a
direct source of heat). The PPE has to be kept and transported under dry conditions and protected from mechanic damage, chemical
infl uence (e.g. of chemicals, oil, solutions and other aggressive substances) as well as from heat sources (ambient temperature/not
in direct sunlight) in a bag or container.
2.3 Repair
Eventual repair, modifi cation or additions to the PPE generally have to be carried out exclusively by the manufacturer.
2.4 Training (Instruction)
We are pleased to inform you about training for INSTRUCTIONS or COMPETENT PERSONS.
