INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILTRATION INSERT CLEANING
ATTENTION: PRIOR TO STARTING ANY MAINTENANCE MAKE SURE THE FILTRATION PUMP IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE MAINS. THIS WILL PREVENT THE RISK OF SERIOUS
INJURY OR EVEN DEATH.
1. The filtration insert (10) must be cleaned. First switch the power off. Loosen the hose clamps near the pool wall. Then remove the inlet grommet and the
return grommet from the pool wall. Add the plugs (18) and press them completely into both holes to prevent water leakage. To breathe the filtration,
slowly loosen the vent bolt (6). Press the filtration cover ring (5) by both hands and turn it counter clockwise to remove it. Then remove the cover and pull
the filtration insert (10) out. Once the cleaning of the filtration insert is finished, thoroughly lubricate the O-ring with grease and assemble the filtration
according to the instruction in reverse order.
2. The filtration insert can be cleaned from coarse debris and solid particles from the outside as well as from the inside using a garden hose. Make sure it is
flushed in all folds of the insert. If, after the cleaning, the insert is still dirty, remove it. We recommend the replacement every two weeks.
3. We recommend to keep one insert in reserve. It allows you to continue the filtration of your pool during cleaning or replacement of a dirty filtration insert.
Well maintained and clean insert also ensures that the filtration will always operate optimally.
You can place chlorine tables with diameter up to
2.54cm inside the filtration insert, the tablets will
dissolve in the water flow. For the application of
chlorine into the pool we recommend to use a floating
dispenser, otherwise chlorine overdose may occur.
Regularly check and adjust the chlorine concentration
and the pH level in the pool.
