Requirements for using the RailCom transmitter LRC100
The transmitter LRC100 can be operated only with DCC controls equipped with the so-called
"RailCom cut-out" (also called "blanking interval").
For the Digital plus by Lenz
command station LZ100 from version 3.5 in combination with the amplifier LV102, or the amplifier
LV102 as a stand-alone device fulfil the technical requirements for using RailCom.
How to enable the blanking interval in the LZV100 or LV102 is described in the Annex.
The amplifiers LV100, LV101, LV200, and the amplifier part of the compact are
unable to create this blanking interval and therefore cannot be used when
using RailCom.
A conventional locomotive cannot be operated in the digital system when using
RailCom.
