Mounting the discharge line of the safety valve
HOT LIQUID
Water in heating systems is under high pressure and can have temperatures of
more than 100 °C.
•
Verify that the discharge line is installed in such a way that blown off liquid
cannot cause injury or damage.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury or
equipment damage.
Verify that the discharge line is accessible and easy to oversee.
Verify that the arrow at the discharge opening of the diaphragm safety
valve (valve outlet) matches the direction of flow of the liquid.
