Possible cause and error

Display «H» if the measure-
ment temperature is more than
100.0°C or 199.9°F.
Display «L» if the measure-
ment temperature is less than
0°C or 32.0°F.
Display «H» in connection
with « ^ » if the ambient
temperature is more than
40.0°C or 104.0°F. Consider
the item „Ambient operating
conditions" in the field Tech-
nical data.
Display «L» in connection with
« ^ » if the ambient tempera-
ture is less than 5°C or 41.0°F.
Consider the item „Ambient
operating conditions" in the
field Technical data.
Switch off unit, remove battery
for 2 minutes, then make a
new attempt. If same problem
appears, call customer service.
