9.4 Formatting the microSD card

To record images and video, the microSD card must be formatted.

The microSD card is installed in the microscope.

1. (If turned off) Press the power button
2. Press the menu button
3. With the menu buttons ▲ and ▼navigate to Format.
4. Press the menu button OK two times (2x) and follow the on-screen instructions
to format the microSD card.

9.5 Setting the date and time

1. (If turned off) Press the power button
2. Press the menu button
3. With the menu buttons ▲ and ▼navigate to Date/Time.
4. Press the menu button OK to open the Date/Time entry.
5. Set the date, time and date format. Set values with the menu buttons ▲ and ▼.
Confirm entries with the button OK.
6. Press the menu button

9.6 Connecting the remote control

Connect the remote control to capture images and video and control the digital
zoom.
1. Connect the jack on the remote control cable to the remote control port KEY.
