7. Life phases

7.3 Start-up

The function of the transformer controller results in forces that can lead to property damage
or personal injury.
It is imperative that you observe the safety regulations and the limits of the transformer controller.
•
Test the function of the transformer controller by carefully pressing the relevant key on the
hand switch.
•
Ensure that, when you raise and lower the connected drives, the limit switch operates and
simultaneously stops the lifting movement at the top and bottom end positions.
Ensure that no persons or obstacles are in the movement area when operating the drives with
the hand controller.
You should therefore only use the hand switch if you can see the connected drives - avoid the
danger of accident!
7.3.1 Terminal assignment on the housing
The controller is available in different versions. The versions differ in the input voltage and the dri-
ve type to be connected.
The following versions are available for an input voltage of 230 Vac and 115 Vac. Two drives of
the following types can be connected to these versions of the controller:

Alpha Colonne (ext. controller 2-pin connector)

Multilift (2-pin connector)
•
Electric cylinder LZ60 (Connection A)
•
Drive unit LZ (Connection A)
