J) PLAYING MUSIC ON SEVERAL STREAM UNITS
The Cabasse application includes several functions that ease
playing music when several Stream players are connected to the
network.
DEFAULT STREAM PLAYER
Set the Default Audio Device in the « Audio Devices » subtag
of the « Settings » tag. Once done, all the orders sent from the
Cabasse application will apply to the default player, the one
which icon is marked with a star.
INDEPENDANT CONTROL OF SEVERAL PLAYERS
If no player is set up as the default player, all the players will be
listed on the "Play" tag. Press one icon to activate the control of
the related player (volume, choice in playing list). When selecting
a new track from the "Find Music" TAG, the application asks for
the selection of the player to be involved.
SYNCHRONISED ZONE FOR « PARTY » MODE
A group of players must be created for simultaneous play of the
same program through several players:
- Select "Zone" in the "Settings" tag
- Press on "Create a New Zone"
- Enter the zone name and select
an icon, press "OK"
CAUTION ! Do not mix in the same group players connected
to the network via Wi-Fi and Ethernet.
Audio synchronization requires one connection mode only.

- Select a first player
in the "Ungrouped
Devices" list and
drag it to the group
of your choice, here
named "zone 1".
Add one or more
players in the same
group, maximum 4
if wi-fi connected,
up to 5 for a wired
Ethernet network.
- Press "Done" to valid
the new zone. The se-
lected icon of the group
is now listed among the
available players ins-
tead of the icons of the
individual players now
in the same zone. This
zone can be determined
as the default player.
Volume adjustments
of the zone:
the individual volume
control of each player
from the Zone appears
when pressing the Vo-
lume icone or the main
volume control of the
"Play" tag. Adjust the
required relative vo-
lume for each player,
then adjust the main
volume on demand.
