Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the VGA to TV Converter. This product has
been designed to provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from
both a LINDY 2 year warranty and free lifetime technical support. To
ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for
future reference.
This VGA to TV converter is designed to convert a VGA Signal from
640x480 up to 1920x1080 to interlaced NTSC or PAL Composite video.

Automatically scales and converts VGA to Composite video.

Output resolution 480i (NTSC) or 576i (PAL)
REMARK: Please set your VGA resolution not higher than 1024x768. It
must be downscaled to NTSC/PAL resolution which will always cause a
massive loss of quality since a Composite Video signal cannot support
high resolutions.
Installation
•
Switch the NTSC/PAL switch to the correct position (in Europe
front
normally PAL is used, in USA NTSC).
•
Simply connect the VGA input port to your video source using an all
pins wired VGA cable.
•
Connect the Composite Video yellow RCA output port to your TV or
other Video device.
•
Now connect the 3.5mm Stereo input port to your video source and
the two red and white RCA Audio output ports to your TV or other
Video device.
•
The VGA to TV Converter can be powered via the VGA input cable if
your video source provides enough power via the VGA interface. We
back
recommend to connect the enclosed USB A/Micro-B cable to an
available USB type A port or to a USB power supply to ensure reliable
operation.
Trouble Shooting
Should you encounter any problems please make sure the converter is
powered via the USB cable. Please also make sure that all cables are
seated well. Try to switch the NTSC/PAL switch to the other position.
If you are having problems with the video quality please regard the above
REMARK.
If you cannot solve the problem please contact your dealer or LINDY for
technical support.

Ausgabe Auflösung Composite Video 480i (NTSC) / 576i (PAL)
HINWEIS: Stellen Sie Ihre VGA Auflösung nicht höher als maximal
1024x768 ein. Das Signal muss auf NTSC/PAL Auflösung herunter-
skaliert werden welches immer einen großen Qualitätsverlust bedeu-
tet weil Composite Video keine höheren Auflösungen unterstützt!
Installation
•
Stellen Sie den NTSC/PAL Umschalter in die korrekte Position (in
Europa meist PAL und USA meist NTSC).
•
Schließen Sie Ihre VGA Signalquelle an den VGA Eingang mit
einem voll beschalteten VGA-Kabel an.
•
Schließen Sie den gelben Composite Video RCA Ausgang an Ihr
TV oder anderes Composite Video Gerät an.
•
Schließen Sie an den 3,5mm Stereo-Eingang das Audiosignal der
Signalquelle und an die beiden roten und weißen RCA Audio-
Ausgangsbuchsen den Audioeingang des TV Gerätes an.
•
Der VGA to TV Converter kann über die VGA Schnittstelle mit
Strom versorgt werden falls die Signalquelle genug Strom zur
Verfügung stellt. Wir raten Ihnen für zuverlässige Funktion jedoch
dringend, den Converter über das beiliegende USB A/Micro-B
Kabel an eine USB Buchse oder an ein USB Netzteil
anzuschließen.
Problemlösung
Wir wünschen Ihnen viel Freude mit Ihrem LINDY Produkt.
Sollten Sie Probleme haben, so stellen Sie bitte zuerst sicher, dass
der Converter korrekt mit Strom über das USB Kabel versorgt wird,
und dass alle Kabel korrekt angeschlossen sind. Schalten Sie
versuchsweise den NTSC/PAL Umschalter in die andere Position.
Falls Sie Probleme mit der Bildqualität haben beachten Sie bitte den
obigen HINWEIS.
Sollten Sie die Probleme nicht lösen können so wenden Sie sich bitte
an Ihren Händler oder an den LINDY Support.
