Electric crepe machines
Description of the appliance
Electric crepe machines are supplied with 1 or 2 cast iron griddles, 350 or 400mm in
diameter. The griddles are heated by spiral heating elements which ensure a rapid rise in
temperature and uniform distribution of heat. The extra thickness of the griddles ensures
excellent homogeneity and stability of heat.
These appliances are fir professional use and must therefore be used by qualified
personnel.
The identification plate is located on the back of the appliance.

Installation
Before effecting the connection, check your mains supply and its contact rating (in
relation to the attached table).
Connect your appliance to a socket fitted with an earth. Do not install your
appliance close to a source of humidity or steam.
Operation
Crepe machines are fitted with 1 or 2 thermostats with 1 or 2 temperature control
indicators.
Before first use, it is important to remove, using detergent, the anti-rust coating
applied to the griddle in the factory.
Pre-heat your crepe machine for about 15 minutes. Once pre-heating is finished,
set the thermostat to the temperature required. If slight traces of oxidisation appear, you
can remove them with a metal brush.
Care and maintenance

Your appliance should be cleaned regularly with a damp sponge. Do not clean
400mm
your appliance under running water: water entering the system might damage it. For
350mm
improved service, we advise that periodic maintenance checks are carried out by a
400mm
qualified installer.
