Intended Use
The unit is intended for the defining and
checking exact horizontal height lines and for
transferring height and alignment lines.
Vertical lines, plumb points and partition
walls (vertically and at right angles to a refer-
ence line) can be defined and checked.
For damage caused by usage other then in-
tended, the user is responsible!
Initial Operation
Before initial operation, insert the batteries
according to Section "Inserting/Replacing
the Battery".
Do not look into the beam and do
not direct the laser beam at the
eyes of other persons.
Switching On/Off/Function Selection
On/Off switch 5:
– Pressing 1x
Horizontal line cross
visible
– Pressing 2x
Vertical line visible
– Pressing 3x
Line cross visible
– Pressing 4x
Levelling control off
– Pressing 5x
Switches the unit off.
LED 6: Lights up green for function 1/2/3
LED 6: Lights up red for function 4

Setting up
The line laser must be set-up horizontally. For
inclination angles >5°, the laser beam flashes
and LED 6 lights up red.
Operation with the Hand Receiver
Press the button for hand-receiver opera-
tion 4 1x (LED 3 lights up green). The beam
can now be detected with a special hand re-
ceiver up to a distance of 30 m to the device.
Attention! This function is available only for
function 1 (horizontal line only) and func-
tion 2 (vertical line only).
Mounting device
The line laser is equipped with a holder,
which allows for it to be fastened to a tripod

a metal framing profile.
Inserting/Replacing
the Battery
Open the lid of the battery compartment 7.
Insert the batteries or replace the used batter-
ies with new ones.
Check correct polarity.
Do not use rechargeable batteries!
Extreme temperatures and the use of
batteries with different levels of
charged reduce the operating time
of the unit.
Always use batteries with the same power
rating and from the same manufacturer.
For disposal of the used batteries, see the
Section "Environmental Protection".
Accuracy Check
Check the line laser at regular intervals.
Place the tool in the mounting device and
set it up centered between two walls (at a
distance of 5 m respectively).
Press On/Off switch 5 3x.
