f) Playing a film on PC thanks to VLC (294030/294040)
The SD card enables you to watch the videos you have recorded on a computer.
If the user does not have an SD card reader, simply connect the camera to a PC by
connecting it to the USB port (USB cable provided) (only under Windows
2000/Xp/Vista/7 and under MacOs). The SD card then becomes accessible via the
Windows Explorer, with no software needing to be installed.
The videos are in ASF (mpeg 4) format. This format can be played on PCs via
standard applications (Windows Media Player). However, by providing VLC
application, Virax gives you a free solution to make screen captures.
The VLC-Viewer application provided on CD is freeware. For more
information about the free licence, using the software, its compatibility or
updating it, please go to www.videolan.org.
!
The user must decide whether or not to install this application on their
computer as software solutions other than those offered by Virax exist.
This is why Virax declines all responsibility if the software is installed or
used incorrectly and declines all responsibility for any consequences
caused. In addition, Virax does not offer any technical support for this
program; Virax can only guarantee that the application is available in all
languages, or that the latest version is provided.
