Troubleshooting
No audio signal available
• Is the slide switch (4) in the correct switch position?
The slide switch must be in the "L/R" position if an analogue audio signal is fed to the stereo
jack plug.
The slide switch must be brought to the "Optical" position when connecting a digital optical
audio signal to the TOSLINK jack.
• Check the player to find the presence of an audio signal.
If the optical input is used then you note that a 2-channel stereo signal ("LPCM 2CH") or at
most a 5.1 audio signal ("DTS2....5.1CH") can be fed here.
If necessary, select a different audio format at the playback device (e.g. in the menu of the
Blu-ray player and in the audio settings of the Blu-ray disc).
• Check the volume setting on the TV.
• Check, if the mute function on any of the devices connected is activated.
• The audio inserter can work only if it is powered. Therefore, check whether the power adapter
is properly connected and the audio inserter has been turned on.
No image
• A suitable HDMI cable must be used for 3D or 4K-resolution.
• Use a shorter cable in a trial-and-error manner.
• The audio inserter can work only if it is powered. Therefore, check whether the power adapter
is properly connected and the audio inserter has been turned on.
